William C. Doukas, M.D.

Dr. Doukas areas of expertise are shoulder, upper extremities and sports medicine. He served for 24 years in the United States Army culminating as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and serving as chairman, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and assistant professor of surgery at USUHS for nearly a decade after which he spent 7 years in a group practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia before returning here to Maryland.

Dr. Doukas is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, an Associate Member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and is a Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
